Beanie Babies everywhere

I've got upwards of 200 Beanie Babies that I have to sell for a new consignment customer on eBay. Anyone with an INTEREST in Beanie Babies should check them out when I get them listed under my EBAY ACCOUNT(CLICK this). While Beanie Babies aren't the huge craze they used to be, there still a large collector's market for them and some day just like everything else, their higher value will return.

I'm not a beanie baby person (that's obvious), but I've done some online research so I can learn about them enough to get em listed in the coming month. Every day(if not just the weekends) I plan on getting a percentage of them online for people to choose from. I'm even keeping the shipping low at $2.75 for one and an addtional $1.00 for each one you buy.

The first two lots today are;a couple tabby cats (Silver and Amber), and a couple of bats (Batty (brown) and Batty (Tye Dye).

weekend plans

This weekend looks like a good weekend to sit IN the house and watch football.. it's supposed to rain Saturday and Sunday so it won't exactly be nice weather to be outside. At least tonight it is supposed to be decent for the high school football game.

Notre Dame plays Michigan Saturday, so that's the big game Saturday :) Notre Dame by 13 points is my prediction. My college football predictions this season have sucked terribly, while for the first NFL week , I picked 13 of 16 games correctly.

The Vikings get Carolina in the DOME, which should be a Viking win, but we'll see what happens when the game ends.

This weekend I might list a bunch of sports cards on eBay; see the link to the right of the blogs... I might get lazy and not do it also, but right now I'm thinking about it.

Sunday night I'll be on Paltalk watching the WWE pay per view, since it's a lot cheaper than paying $39.95 to watch.

Hockey season here we come

It's only 2 weeks from the start of HOCKEY season. The UMD Bulldog Women start their season on the 30th, and on the 19th the Minnesota Wild start their preseason schedule. The UMD Bulldog Men start their season the following Friday night.

I highly prefer high school and college hockey to the NHL, but I'll still watch SOME of the Wild's games, when I'm not busy either playing or coaching basketball. I never learned to skate, so I chose to play basketball, though never played in high school because of a moron who got the coaching job during that period. I couldn't play for someone that was my 7th/8th grade homeroom teacher, as you have to actually respect a coach to want to play for them (at least *I* think so.)

Ok, that's enough for now.

eBay seller (short self promoting.. )

This summary is not available. Please click here to view the post.

Sunny Skies

The weather today is 'rather' perfect. 73 degrees and blue skies is a great late summer day. I think maybe I'll go fishing today

Election results for the primary went how I expected, and how I voted in all categories (for once.) Mike Hatch will take on Pawlenty, and win because we've all had "Plenty of Pawlenty." His (Hatch's) assistant Lori Swanson won the Democratic side for Attorney General. Oberstar of course won his spot (he'll be re-elected until he decides NOT to run he's been in office so long.)

The TWINS lost today 1-0 to Oakland but are still hanging on to the wild card by at least 1+1/2 games or 2 if the White Sux lose to the Angels today.

Twins, ECW, My Website

Twins win! Twins win! and *I* turned off the damn game when they started getting behind by a few, to watch ECW wrestling, which wasn't a bad show either. Big WWE PPV to watch this Sunday , Unforgiven, which will have Hell in a Cell, *AND* a TLC (Tables, Ladders, and Chairs) match. Usually a PPV might have one giant match like that but not two. Hopefully WWE doesn't throw us a stinker this weekend with shitty matches.

As for the 'my website' portion of the title, come look around my website and maybe click on a google ad on the page, or maybe find a category you'd like. I created the site in April and have been slowly tinkering with it to add stuff. The ADULT part of the website offers everything a person could want in adult oriented stuff. Below you'll find this great online store I joined so I can offer people the best movies from a great company called Adam & Eve.

Voting today

Today (September 12th) is the day we vote for who will run for election in the party of our choice. Just a small note that I'll be voting the way of Mike Hatch for governor, and NOT Becky Lourey. She seems to be running solely on an anti-war, 'my son died in the war' campaign, while Hatch will be better suited at getting stuff done while in office.

The governor of the state can't do anything about the war in Iraq so why would you run a governorship campaign based on it? She's lost the fact that she's running for a STATE office.

The current governor, Pawlenty tends to forget that there's a northern half to the state, and cuts stuff out of the state budget that would help this area thrive.

Ok, off to vote, and no, this isn't going to be a regular topic, just today and in November when we choose who will BE in office.

Yes, I watch wrestling

I've been watching pro wrestling as long as I can remember, and probably will as long as it's still on tv. While yes, it is scripted and everyone but the fans know how the results will happen before the matches start, it's still exciting most times to watch the stories progress.

The only thing I have a problem with is the WWE's insistance on bringing in people who were stars back 20 years ago who aren't able to put on a good show for television. Hulk Hogan (sorry, I had to use those colors ;) for one, is so crippled he's relegated to 3 moves... (1) the finger point ... (2) the 'big' leg (which might get to belly button height now) ... and (3) the leg drop, which with his artificial hip, he's lucky it hasn't broken his old ass.

WWE bringing back the Degeneration-X deal from the 90's is one of those things that can go either way... Vince vs "good guys" is great television, but some of the pranks got old back in the 90's. Rumors on the net about D-X versus the old NWO would be interesting, but Kevin Nash is in about as good (or bad?) shape as Hogan.

Time for Raw to start, and they're in Madison Square Garden, so flipping back and forth from RAW and the Vikings game tonight.

Split Pea Soup

Posting this in this ugly color because today, I made some great split pea (with ham) soup :) boiled the ham bone .. added carrots onion and bacon fat (fried onion and carrots in bacon fat...) a bay leaf and the soaked peas.. yum :) split pea soup may look like something nasty but damn it tastes good when it's homemade.

The bacon fat came from some thick cut bacon that I ate while watching the soup cook, and stirring. I was going to put the bacon IN the soup but I got hungry while doing the cooking so I ate the bacon pieces .. oops :)

I might be one of the few guys I know who likes to cook :) Baked the ham last week and had ham/cheese omlettes a couple times this week. I cook lots of stuff including homemade spaghetti sauce from roasting tomatoes myself.
